Cat being an interior designer, came to us with the brief of “Kyoto Forrest” for her wedding at Half Acre. A modern venue with structural elements of the building on show, we were able to use the original beams to create a hanging installation to recreate the vibe of a Forest. Cat and John also wanted their wedding to feel like an “interactive art installation” almost like a museum or gallery, that the guests could “experience” the florals, not just admire them from a distance. We loved this idea and did ample research on Japanese style gardening, sourcing silver gabion rocks, bamboo, lush chestnut foliage and a selection of interesting and unique orchids. Such a job like this, you are only as good as the team behind you, and I couldn’t be more proud of the work the team at Mollymolly created for this.
