The bride and groom came to us with a clear vision and a few special requests for their wedding day. Cat, a bride with a background in interior design, asked us to bring to life the theme “Kyoto Forest” while making the entire celebration feel like an interactive art installation. They wanted guests to experience the florals as if they were walking through a gallery.
The modern venue, Half Acre, with its structural elements, high ceilings, and raw materials, was the perfect backdrop to build on that concept.
Inspired by Japanese-style gardening, we sourced silver gabion rocks, bamboo, chestnut foliage, and a variety of striking orchids to bring the vision to life.
